comment on your evaluation? Well, I did not. My comments went
more like "can not sit still", "her mind wanders", "she daydreams".
In those days, it seemed like a bad thing.....but not today.
I have spent my career selling software to Fortune 500 companies
blessed with a lot of success and working for wonderful companies
and great mentors. But that left my creative side wanting for many
years. I finally retired and now spend my summers in Colorado and
winters in Arizona. I now have an art studio in both of my
homes...and it has changed my life! How lucky am I? I had a great
life and now it is even better......
So I spend all of my spare time creating and traveling. I see images
in my head that turn out as art. I take hundreds of pictures when I
travel and maybe one or two will end up in my portfolio, but all of
them live in my creative library. I also love to create jewelry,
"wearable art". I wear the standard business suits to my sales calls,
but people remember me because I always wear a statement piece of
accessories. I want to be remembered....by a customer, a flight
attendant, a business associate, a friend. I want to be remembered as
an artist. I admire women with a single focus and passion, like;
Frida Kahlo, Zelda Fitzgerald, Nora Joyce and Georgia O'Keeffe.
That kind of passion changes the world and don't we change the
world one person, one act at a time?
